Biographical material, correspondence, illustrations, color separations, and a dummy. For each of five titles, Citizen of New Salem (1961); Farm boy (1950); They had a horse (1962); The Vicksburg veteran (1971); and William Henry Jackson, pioneer photographer of the West, the Collection contains illustrations. For William Henry Jackson the Collection also holds color separations for the dust jacket. There is also a dummy for The Vicksburg veteran and an unidentified illustration.
